History

NGI was founded in Vienna in 2016; the abbreviation stands for Next Generation Impact, as the Austrian commercial register did not permit English words in company names. The firm began as a venture holding with involvements ranging from an ethical sportswear brand in London to children's furniture, a car garage and a retail store in Vienna. The lessons learned from operating in tough, detail-driven markets now inform our analytical work.

Partners & Network

NGI holds a stake in the European Center for Social Finance and Society Intelligence and works within a network of partner organizations and individual experts across Europe.
