NGen Impact (NGI) is the abbreviation for Next Generation Impact as the Austrian commercial register court did not allow English words in company names. It was founded in 2016 and is based in Vienna. At the beginning, the key idea was based on ventures. It was involved in various companies.
Sports Philosophy was an ethical sportswear brand based in London with an associated foundation. Suppliers were based in Italy and Portugal but the market is a tough one. When a client pays 100, the brand receives approximately a third. Half of that is going to the manufacturer. kjuti was a children's furniture brand based in Vienna with production in Bosnia. It was a great product but again the market was competitive and tricky in the details. KSW Autoservice was a car garage in Vienna with a lot of learnings about operations. Batschino was a retail store in the fifth district with a lot of different learnings when you start during the first lockdown.
As of now, NGI holds a stake in the European Center for Social Finance and Society Intelligence and is involved in various experimental stuff embedded in a network of partners and individual experts.
